Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations

On February 5, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea co-hosted "Multilateral AI Diplomacy: Setting the Stage for Success in 2026" with UN foundation and the Missions of Kenya and the United Kingdom.

As a part of his opening remarks, Ambassador Jihoon Cha, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Korea, highlighted that complementarity, a human-centered and human-rights-based approach, and inclusiveness should help guide the multilateral AI process, including the International Scientific Panel on AI and the first Global Dialogue on AI Governance.
